It’s time to upgrade, and you have a number of options depending on the kind of account you have (either an Original Machine or Core plan). This page has all the information you need to upgrade your account.
Managed hosting
Scaling your Managed Hosting account is easy. Just submit a ticket. We’re already watching your account, know what’s going on, and have recommendations for you. Really. That’s what Rails Machine Managed Hosting is all about.
Trade-up to managed hosting
If you currently have an Original Machine or Core plan and you’d like to upgrade to Managed Hosting, just submit a ticket to get the ball rolling. We’ll handle everything.
Add a staging server
You can add a staging or development server, called a Sidecar, to any existing Rails Machine account for a one-time cost of $500. No monthly fees or setup charges.

Upgrading a Core plan
If you;re currently a Core plan customer, you can upgrade by moving to a higher plan at any time. Take a look at the chart below for upgrade steps and prices.

Upgrading an Original Machine plan
If you are currently an Original Machine customer, you can add resources and virtual servers incrementally, as detailed below. There are no setup fees when adding resources.
